Good Beauty
Products Do Not Have To Cost A
Fortune
One of the ways
to choose good beauty product is not by the price, as some of
the most expensive items on the market may not work with your
kind of skin. Reading the labels and making sure there is
nothing in the ingredients that can clog your pores and will
actually help the wrinkles disappear is essential. There are
many companies with a history of supplying quality products at
a reasonable price and these products are often at least as
good, if not better, than some of the higher prices
ones.
Terms like
‘professional ‘and ‘spa-quality’ are often used to advertise
many beauty products, whether for skin or hair and several of
them can really deliver on their promises. However, some of the
good beauty products may be overpriced simply due to their
marketing plans and advertising budget so reading the labels
can help you find good beauty products that also off the best
results for your money.
Some
Ingredients Should Have a Hazardous
Label!
When reading
labels, alcohol should never be listed as the first ingredient
in the product, as that indicates that of all the ingredients,
alcohol is the most saturated. Regardless of the other
ingredients too much alcohol can dry out the skin, leaving it
dull and lifeless and is not considered in good beauty products
to be a great
choice.
In addition to
alcohol, some of the products may contain propylene glycol
found in make-up, after shave lotions, deodorants and body
lotions and should not be present in good beauty products. This
ingredient is the main ingredient in automotive and industrial
anti-freeze and is considered hazardous as it can quickly be
absorbed into the skin.
Sodium Lauryl
Sulfate, another ingredient in many cosmetics, hair conditioner
and shampoos that develop foaming action and rarely seen in
good beauty products due to its penchant to enter the skin and
take up residual residence in the heart. It is popular as well
in car wash detergents and as a degreaser for garage floors.
This is probably not something you would want to use on your
hair.
Fragrances and
color pigments are also found in even good beauty products, but
the few thousand different products used for them make it
difficult to pinpoint which ones care tagged as carcinogens and
affect the central nervous system. As you can see, carefully
reading the labels can help determine if your choice of good
beauty products is also a healthy
choice.
